Hi. I’m Denys Katerenchuk, PhD, a Research Scientist and Engineer focused on the exciting fields of Generative AI, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Artificial Intelligence (AI). My academic journey led me to a Ph.D. in Computer Science from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, where I delved deep into Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning.

I’ve had the privilege of working at some of the top tech companies, contributing to impactful projects. Currently, as a Machine Learning Engineer at Kasisto, Inc., I’m building Generative AI (LLM) specifically for the financial industry. My past experiences include serving as a Senior Data Scientist at IBM’s internal consulting department where I developed workforce optimization models based on unstructured data, and a Software Engineer in Applied Research at Google, focusing on bringing NLP and ML research-based products. I also gained valuable experience as a Senior Strategy Consultant at IBM and multiple research internships working at Disney Research and Comcast Research groups.

Ultimately, my work is characterized by strong NLP, ML and AI capabilities, a clarity in designing effective solutions, and consistently delivering outstanding results.
